What are voice & text bundles?

If you are travelling to the European union, you can pre-purchase bundles of minutes and texts before you go. You can purchase as many or as few bundles of minutes/texts to suit your needs while you are away.

Who are the bundles for?

If you are afraid of returning from your holiday to a roaming bill that is higher than your expectation, then these bundles are for you.

How do I get the bundles?

You need to complete the below order form to choose the bundles that you want and the day when you want the bundles to start. Your request will be processed by our customer care team within 72 hours.

How do the bundles work?

Once you have purchased the bundles, they will be available to use on the first day of your trip and will last up to 30 days or until you use up your allowance.

How will this appear on my bill?

The bundles will appear in the 'once off charges' section of your bill as a 'connection fee'.

Add on Rules

• These Rules are in addition to the General Terms for O2 Services and any other terms provided to you as part of the authorisation process completed by you to approve registration and provision of O2 Services. Your agreement may be provided directly, in writing or recorded during a telephone or online sales process.
• The EU Roaming Voice and Text Add ons are available to O2 Bill Pay customers only.
• Additional calls and texts are charged at standard roaming rates for the tariff that you are on.
• The bundles apply to calls (made and received) or texts (sent) to standard EU landline and mobile numbers. It excludes all other usage such as calls/texts to other international destinations, Premium rate, calls to non-geographic numbers, MMS etc.
• The Add on can be used in the following EU countries - Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and UK. It also applies in Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.
• Voice bundles are not recommended if a customer has the UK add-on.
• The Add on is applied to a mobile number (and not at an account level) and reduced rates or inclusive minutes will only apply to that number.
• Your Add on allowance lasts for 30 days from the date of application to your account. O2 will confirm activation by text message.
• If you select multiple Add ons these will all expire 30 days from the date they are added to your account.
• Bundle requests may take up to 72 hours to process. When bundles are activated a text message will be sent to confirm activation. If some roaming usage occurs between time of request and activation then the associated usage will be billed separate to the bundle.
• Unused allowances will not be carried forward to the next 30 day period.
• The Rules for the Add on may be varied or amended by O2 for any reasonable commercial technical or operational reason.
