The iPhone is equipped with parental controls to enable parents to deactivate different features on the device, including access to the internet. Through the settings feature on the iPhone, parents can set up a special PIN code and then disable internet access. When this is done, users cannot browse the internet or access web clips. Other applications on the iPhone can also be deactivated in the same way, including YouTube and the iTunes Wi-Fi music store. Further information can be accessed from the iPhone User Guide.
