Radisson Hotel Group makes the switch to O2 Ireland
Wed, 3 May 2006
The Radisson Hotel Group in the Republic of Ireland has signed up to switch its mobile communications business to O2, it was announced today. All 100 mobiles in use across the Radisson Group’s 8 hotels in the Republic of Ireland will be covered under the new deal, as well as O2 Blackberries used by the hotel staff. The Radisson will achieve savings of over 30 percent on costs by switching to a business tariff with O2.
Commenting, Niall Kelly, Group Purchasing Manager, Radisson Hotel explains, “The primary reasons for moving were both the financial benefits and the professional approach we observed with O2’s offering. We are delighted to have brought savings to the Group by this astute move. However, we put just as much emphasis on professional customer service and account management as well as price in order to come to our decision. We are confident that O2 will more than match our requirements in that area also”.
Billy Darcy, Head of Corporate and Business sales, O2 Ireland, said, “O2 is unique in that we will assign a dedicated account manager who will work closely with the customer in order to meet their needs whilst helping them maintain a competitive advantage in their own industry. The account manager understands the environment with which their customers operate and will only recommend solutions that enhance their customers business.”
Radisson hotels are located in Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Athlone, Galway, Dundalk, Sligo and Letterkenny with Cavan coming online shortly.
