Desktop Text enables all O2 customers to send text messages from their PC to any mobile (National or International). It makes texting a very simple, fast and cost effective way of communicating key messages to one or several people.

You can keep your staff up-to-date with the latest developments while they're out and about or use Desktop Text to advertise or send appointment reminders so much cheaper than sending a letter or Direct Mail shot.

To keep things personal, the message looks like it came from your mobile. But just so you know, you pay for each text message at the same rate as sending a message from your mobile. The software is provided free of charge.

Download Desktop Text Application or Brochure

In order to download Desktop Text, you must have permission to install software onto your computer. If you get an error message you may not have these rights and will need to contact your IT department for further information. To use Desktop Text you will need an internet connection.

Desktop Text is optimised for use on versions of Microsoft Outlook© 98 or greater, and will not function on previous versions. Desktop Text Dashboard Widget requires Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) with Safari web browser installed. Desktop Text Vista gadget requires Microsoft Windows Vista with Internet Explorer 6.0, or 7.0, and Active Desktop activated.
