Group Conferencing

O2 Group conferencing allows you to communicate effectively with groups of people quickly and simply wherever they are located. This will help you to avoid unnecessary travel and subsequently provides cost savings and productivity benefits.

O2 Group Conferencing lets you and up to 39 other people take part in conference calls no matter where you are. It's perfect for team catch-ups, and since everybody is in the loop at once it's a great way of getting issues straightened out once and for all.

O2 Conference Service is easy to set up - there is no charge for once off registration and everyone pays their own call charges. The service is available wherever or whenever you need it. O2 Group conferencing calls can be recorded which will allow you to record meeting minutes and each user on the call will be informed that the conference call is being recorded when they join the conference.

Get Started

To chair a conference, you will need to complete the registration form. Your Entry Code will be sent to the email address that you register with. You need this code to access the service. You will also receive two attachments, a user guide and an email template so you can easily chair your conference calls.

To take part in a conference call (but not as a chairperson), you do not need to register. You simply dial the O2 Group Conferencing number listed below.

How do I use this service?

Dial 086 384 4000 to begin or join a conference call.

If you are the chairperson you will be prompted for your entry code as received in your mail. If you are simply joining the conference call you will be prompted to use the mobile phone number of the chairperson. All callers will be placed on hold on the bridge until the registered user (or chairperson) enters their entry code. All attendees will be asked to record their name. This recording will be repeated upon entering the conference. The chairperson can confirm who is participating on the call at any stage using the Conference Roll Call feature. In addition the chairperson can control participant access to the conference call using the lock and unlock feature.

Charges

O2 pay monthly: 16c (ex VAT) per minute
O2 Speakeasy mobile: 55c (ex VAT) per minute
Calls from O2 numbers to the conference call number will be charged at the above rate. These calls are separate to your price plan inclusive minutes and your price plan rates for O2 to O2 calls.
All prices quoted are ex VAT. All rates are shown per minute but billed per second unless otherwise stated. See www.o2.ie for full O2 terms and conditions.
