Block It is easy to set up and use. To get started, just text BLOCK IT START to 50216.
What types of numbers can I block?
You can block text, picture and video messages from any mobile network. Just to let you know, you won't be able to block messages from premium rate numbers. To stop these messages, just text back the word STOP to the sender.
How much does Block It cost?
Block It is totally free. So no matter how many numbers you block, it won't cost you a cent.
How do I block a number?
To block a number, just text the word BLOCK and the number to 50216. This will block all text, picture and video messages from this number. This also means you won't be able to send any messages to this number.
How do I unblock a number?
If you want to unblock a number, you simply text UNBLOCK and the number to 50216.
If you can't remember the numbers you've blocked, don't worry. We'll let you know. Just text BLOCK IT LIST to 50216 and we'll send you a list of all your blocked numbers.

Are there any numbers that I cannot block?
You won't be able to block texts from Premium Rate numbers. These are services which allow you to buy content such as ringtones, logos, enter competitions or subscribe to information. These services are provided by third party content companies and their contact numbers contain five digits starting with the number 5 eg 5XXXX. There is already a system in place to stop these services. The way to stop texts from these numbers is to send the word STOP back to the sender. If you try to block a premium rate service you will get a message to tell you that this number cannot be blocked. In addition you cannot block messages from Directory enquiry services.
Can I block voice calls with Block It?
The service doesn't provide the capability to block voice calls. Block It allows you to block texts, picture and video messages.
