Predictive Text
Predictive text tries to predict which word you are using and then completes that word for you automatically. Hit each letter key just once and the word the phone predicts you are using will appear. If you would prefer not to use predictive text then check out how to switch it off below.
Nokia
If this symbol appears
in the top left of the screen, the predictive text option is on. To switch predictive text off, press the # key until you see this symbol

NEC
The sign T9 means that the predictive text setting is on. To switch this feature off, select Menu and scroll down to Settings, select T9 input and change to off.
Motorola
To switch this feature off, press the # key until you get the abc symbol.
Panasonic
The sign T9 means that the predictive text setting is on. To switch this feature off, select Menu and scroll down to Inout mode. Select abc.
Siemens
If this symbol
appears in the top left of the screen the predictive text option is on. To switch predictive text input off, press the # key until you see this symbol
