Standard text prices

O2 offers great value in text rates, typically 11c - 13c. How much you pay depends on whether you are a Pay monthly (bill pay) or Speak easy prepay customer and if you have purchased a text bundle.

Text bundles

Buying your text messages in bulk as a bundle means you can text for as little as 5c per message. sign up to text bundles quickly and easily either online or from your mobile.

Sent text from abroad

Want to stay in touch while you're abroad, but unsure of the cost? Sending a text is a quick and convenient way to say you've arrived. We can also advise you which networks give you the best value when you're away.

International text

Stay in touch with friends and family abroad. All texts sent to International numbers are 26c. You can also now text the USA for just 26c per text message if your friends are on a network O2 has an agreement with. We have agreements with about 95% of all networks in the US.

Text tip

One text message is 160 characters. When you go over 160 characters it is billed as another message.
