O2 Travelling Abroad
From 1st July 2012 our default voice, text and data rates are changing. For more information click here
When you're travelling abroad, it's good to know how much it costs to use your phone. You don’t want the hassle of picking a different network to get lower rates, or feeling you can’t call home because it might cost a fortune. So we wanted to make it easier to use your phone abroad.
With O2 Travel you pay a flat call rate of 30c per minute, after an initial connection fee, depending on what part of the world you’re in. And if you’re receiving a call, all you pay is the connection fee, not a cent more..
Want to use the internet when you are abroad too? We have a new EU Daily Data Roaming Pass for EU & EEA countries where you'll receive a 25MB Data allowance for €2 each day. You'll get a text alert when you are reaching the end of the 25MB and if you continue to use data outside the 25MB allowance, you'll be charged 61.5c per MB. Once the pass is applied to your phone number, every time you use data while roaming in the EU or EEA countries, you'll be charged €2 per day.
The pass is for Bill Pay customers only. You can text EUPASS to 50202 to Opt In and the pass will be applied within 2 working days. Terms and Conditions.
Top Tip: Always include the country code when dialling locally or internationally when roaming.
