What is the My Mail Email Service?

My Mail is email on O2 Mobile Internet. The My Mail email service is a one stop shop for mobile email access for all your accounts when you're on the move. You have access to up to 16 different email accounts in one area, include O2 email, Eircom, Gmail, Hotmail and more.

Set up mobile phone email with My Mail today, to have instant mobile email access to one or more of your accounts from the following email providers:

Getting started

First go to the O2 Mobile Internet homepage on your O2 Mobile Internet capable phone and select the first link 'My Email'.

 

When in the My Mail Section...

Step 1: Click on the 'Add mail account'. From the list of providers, scroll to the relevant email provider you wish to register for mobile email access. Select OK from your screen menu.

Step 2: Enter your email details starting with your username (e.g. joebloggs, not joeblogg@o2.ie) and your password for that email account. Select submit.

Once you are registered, you will be brought back to the email accounts menu. You can register another email account for the My Mail email service by repeating the steps above.

Using the My Mail Email Service...

After you've registered, you will be given a list of your registered email accounts. Click on the email address you wish to use, no login or PIN required. If you would like to switch on a PIN for the email service, go to 'My Profile' on the main My Mail menu and select 'Prompt 'PIN'.

Just like an email on your PC, the header will display the sender of the email and the date and time it was sent. Selecting 'Msg Options' at the bottom of the email allows you to save contacts, reply, delete and forward.

Forgotten PIN?

If at any point you forget your PIN number for the My Mail email service, just go onto O2 Mobile Internet on your phone and select the email link as normal. When you are asked for your PIN number, simply select the link 'Forgot your PIN' and your PIN number will be sent to your email address. It will be sent to the email address which you have forgotten the PIN number for. You will need to open this email on a web browser.

i-mail™

You may have an i-mode capable device, this means you will have access to i-mail™ and have mobile email access wherever you go.
