Christmas Gifts returns policy
If you received a prepay phone as a gift which you want to return the following returns policy applies.
- If the prepay phone was purchased as a gift in an O2 retail store then you should return the phone to an O2 retail store unused, and in its original packaging by 2nd January.
- If the prepay phone was purchased as gift online then you must return the phone, unused, in its original packaging to [O2 Online Returns FREEPOST Bray 50 Co Wicklow] by 8th January.
- If your gift phone becomes faulty within 30 days of Christmas Day, and has not been used prior to Christmas Day, then you should follow the procedures outlined for returns within 30 days below.
Delivery
All online purchases will be delivered to your preferred address within 3 working days or less. Once you have ordered online, you will receive an Order Tracking number which will allow you to track the progress of your order. There is no charge for delivery from the O2 Online Shop.
Returns
In the event that you experience a difficulty with your O2 mobile phone, accessory, O2 Broadband modem or iPhone, we will be happy to help. The returns procedure for your purchase depends on what you bought, how long it is since you bought it and where you originally bought your phone, accessory, O2 Broadband modem or iPhone.

Handsets and Accessories returns policy
Less than 7 days
If you are unhappy with the phone or accessory you purchased and provided you haven't used it, you can return it to O2 for a full refund. This should be done within 7 working days of receipt of the phone. Proof of purchase will be required.
Bought in a store?
If you bought your phone or accessory in an O2 Retail Store, then you can return it for refund in any O2 Retail Store.
Bought online?
If you bought your phone or accessory online, you can return it to our Freepost address below or go to an O2 Retail store for a repair. This is in accordance with the Distance Sales Regulations.

Less than 30 days
If your phone becomes faulty within the first 30 days of purchase, then you are entitled to a new replacement phone or a refund -whichever you prefer.

More than 30 days
If your phone or accessory becomes faulty after 30 days and it is within the warranty period applicable to the phone or accessory, you can return it for repair to the O2 Online Store by Freepost or you can go into your nearest O2 store.

Phone repairs are free of charge except in the following scenarios where a fee will need to be paid;
- It is outside the manufacturer warranty period.
- It is customer damage ( this will void the warranty & an estimated cost of repair will be made)
- Moisture damage has occurred or is deemed to be beyond economical repair.

O2 Broadband Returns Policy
We are confident you will be happy with the O2 Broadband service however, if you are unhappy with the service you can return it within 7 days. You may cancel your contract without penalty within the first 7 days of connection.
O2 will refund the USB modem cost and refund any charges for monthly broadband rental. Any additional charges including excess data usage, charges relating to voice, text and roaming will not be refunded.
Equipment faults
If your O2 Broadband modem becomes faulty within the first 30 days of purchase, then you are entitled to a new replacement modem. You can return the modem to the O2 online store by Freepost at the below address for a replacement. If after 30 days your O2 Broadband modem becomes faulty you can visit your local O2 Retail store, provided the fault is not excluded under the terms of the warranty. The modem will be sent for repair.

O2 strongly advise customers to request a receipt from the Post Office. Please note that you will not be entitled to a refund or replacement if the O2 Broadband modem has been either customer or water damaged. Customer damaged is where a fault has been caused by a use inconsistent or contrary to guidelines or manufacturer's user booklet provided with your purchase. Bought in an O2 retail store, where do I return my Broadband modem?
If you bought the Modem in an O2 Retail store then you can return it to any of our O2 Retail stores
Please repack the O2 Broadband modem in the original packaging including your receipt as proof of purchase and the Broadband returns form indicating if you want a replacement or refund (only applies within first 30 days) or a repair (faulty after 30 days).
iPhone
Can I return my iPhone if I am not happy with it?
If you are unhappy with your iPhone, provided you haven't used it you can return it within 7 working days from the day you receive it for a full refund. Proof of purchase is required.
Bought Online?
If you purchased your iPhone online, to receive a refund, you will need to post your phone back to us via Freepost. Unfortunately we cannot refund you in an O2 Store if you purchased your iPhone online. The returns Freepost address is:

O2 advise customers to request a receipt from the Post Office when sending your purchase back. A refund will be issued within 30 working days or earlier.
Bought in a store?
If you purchased iPhone at an O2 Store or from Carphone Warehouse, provided you haven't used it you can return it within 7 working days from the day you received it for a full refund. Your iPhone must be returned to the store from which it was purchased.
Can I return my iPhone if it is faulty?
If your iPhone develops a fault, you can return the iPhone to the retail store where you purchased it.O2 will then return the faulty device to Apple for repair on your behalf.

How long is the warranty period?
The Apple manufacturer warranty is for one year. After the warranty period has expired there will be a charge made for any repairs to iPhone.
