Free Extras - Information

Free Extras are available to new and existing O2 Bill pay customers who join or rejoin O2 on O2 Clear 350 & O2 Clear 600, O2 Advance 350, O2 Advance 550 & O2 Advance 700, O2 Clear SIM only 350 & O2 Clear SIM only 600 within the promotional period.

Existing customers who are already on an eligible price plan and provided their account is up to date can contact O2 customer care on 1909 within the promotional period to choose their Free Extra.

Note:

• A minimum term of 12 or 18 months applies depending on price plan chosen and your Free Extra will cease at the end of your minimum term.
• If you have chosen an eligible O2 Clear SIM plan with a 30 day commitment then the Free Extra will cease after 18 months.
• You can only avail of one Free Extra per billing cycle. You may only change your Free Extra a maximum of once per billing cycle and changes take effect from the beginning of the following billing cycle.
• A minimum term contract applies every time you switch to the Free 3GB Broadband. A charge of 2c per MB applies for additional usage on the 3GB Broadband free extra. A compatible handset is required. Click here for details.
• **The Sky Sports and News TV and 500MB Data and O2 Lifestyle TV and 500MB Data free extras are not available on O2 Advance price plans. These extras include 500MB for mobile internet browsing on your handset and a charge of 3c per MB applies for additional data usage.
• Activation of TV feature packs can take up to 3 days from request. A compatible handset is required. Click here for details.
• On Free Extras all calls, texts and data usage whilst roaming are excluded and are charged as per the standard roaming rates as published on o2.ie.

How can I get a Text bundle?

Bill pay customers

• You can set up and cancel Text bundles through My Account online.
• You can also call customer care on 1909 and ask for the 100, 200, 300 or 400 'text add on' to be added to, or removed from your account.
• Each month you will receive a new bundle of texts and the amount will appear on your monthly bill.
• Unused texts will automatically be carried over to the following month (up to the same number of monthly inclusive texts in your Add on).

International calls to Africa promotion terms & conditions

The following terms and conditions for the International calls to African countries promotion are in addition to and form part of the terms and conditions of your O2 prepay service.

During the promotional period O2 prepay customers will be able to avail of reduced rates for calls from Ireland to International landline and mobile numbers for select African countries. Click here to find a list of countries and applicable rates.

The promotional period runs from 8th April 2009 until July 31st 2010 and thereafter the standard international rates will apply.

All calls are subject to a minimum initial charging period of 1 minute. Per second charging will apply thereafter.

O2 reserve the right to suspend or terminate this promotion or to amend the promotion terms and condition at any time, without notice, for any valid technical or commercial reason.

Midnight caller

Midnight caller is a promotion designed for our Prepay customers who call Asian countries. With these new prices you can catch up with your friends and family in Asia at lower rates between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. when it is day time for them.

If you are already an O2 Prepay customer, you don't have to do anything, just pick up your phone and call. This promotion is not available to bill pay customers.

Midnight Caller International calls promotion terms & conditions

The following terms and conditions for the Midnight Caller International calls promotion are in addition to and form part of the terms and conditions of your O2 prepay service.

During the promotional period O2 prepay customers will be able to avail of reduced rates for calls from Ireland to International landline and mobile numbers for select countries. The countries included are:

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand & Vietnam.

The promotional rates will only apply to International minutes between 10pm and 6am Irish time. All International minutes outside these times will be charged at standard price plan rates. Click here to find a list of countries and applicable rates.

1. SMS messages to Irish mobiles and landlines are 13c per message
2. International SMS messages are 25c.

Price plan rules

Please note the following important price plan rules which apply to your price plan:

1. Your O2 Mobile Broadband Services pass commences immediately when you select a daily or 30 day pass.
2. Your pass will last for the specified duration (daily or 30 days) or until the specified data allowance is reached (whichever is sooner).
3. When your pass expires you will be asked if you want to get another pass. Alternatively you can choose to pay the Additional Usage Charge if you decide you don’t need a full day or monthly pass.
4. Roaming is not available on your O2 Mobile Broadband Services on activation. You should contact O2 if you require roaming activated. Your pass applies to ROI broadband use only and all use while roaming (should you decide to activate roaming) is charged at roaming rates. See http://www.o2online.ie for further details.
5. All pricing information applies to the O2 Mobile Broadband Services only. Third party service providers that you use (such as premium rate text services) will be subject to different pricing and terms.
